What I collect

One thing: what you type into the enquiry form. That is your name, your email address, your phone number, which service you are asking about, and your message.

Nothing else. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts watching what you read. I do not know which pages you visited or how long you stayed.

Why I collect it

To answer you. An enquiry reaches me directly and I reply to it myself.

I do not add you to a mailing list, and I will not send you anything you did not ask for.

Where it is kept

In a hosted database, over an encrypted connection. Only I can read it, through a password-protected area of this site.

It is never sold, never rented, and never shared with anybody else for their own purposes.

The one third party

The enquiry form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is what stops it being filled in by machines. Google receives some technical information about your device and your interaction with the form in order to score it. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern what Google does with that.

Nothing else on this page is sent to anyone.

Cookies

None for you. This site sets no cookie on a visitor's device, which is why there is no cookie banner asking you to accept one.

There is a single session cookie, and it exists only for me, after I sign in to the private area to read enquiries.

How long I keep it

An enquiry is kept for six months and then deleted. If we end up working together, what we agree is kept separately and for as long as the engagement needs.

If you would rather I deleted yours sooner, say so and I will.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to hello@afifasalim.com and I will answer personally.

You do not need a reason and there is no form to fill in.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. I will not make a change quietly.
